Purpose and Scope:
As the Organization and Talent Development Coordinator, this role is critical in helping to create solutions that contribute to workforce development, leadership development and employee engagement. Under general supervision and in alignment with the department objectives, the OTD (Organization & Talent Development) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the OTD team. This position encompasses three core dimensions of their work (1) Supporting Enterprise-Wide Organization and Talent Initiatives to include Talent Acquisition, Talent Planning, Learning and Development and Organization Development (2) Collaborating on the Learning Management System (LMS) administration and (3) Providing administrative support to the OTD Team. Also, this role will collaborate with various team members within HR and across the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports program design and implementation plans to enhance the employee experience and overall organizational effectiveness, including performance, succession, leadership development, employee engagement, mentoring and employee development.
- Actively participate in learning management system (LMS) administration, including processing access requests, new position training population, training matrix review initiation, course catalog management, user administration, learner support, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Support the planning and execution of training events and programs, coordinating logistics and tracking attendance.
- Assist in the development and dissemination of communication materials related to department initiatives.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition by posting open positions to job boards, coordinating candidate travel, scheduling interviews across departments and participating in recruiting events.
- Ability to think innovatively and support creative use of technologies to support OTD marketing activities and branding.
- Participate in recruiting events as needed, including job fairs, university events, etc.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Organization and Talent Development department, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all tasks.
- Assist in the coordination of departmental activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining necessary resources.
- Manage and maintain employee records, contact lists, email distribution lists, and databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices related to talent development and administrative processes.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR counterparts on cross-functional projects and initiatives to streamline processes and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Provide backup support to HR functions as needed, including recruiting assistance, benefits administration, and event coordination.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), with the ability to navigate and perform basic administrative functions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment with diplomacy, accuracy, and service-orientation.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent combination of education plus experience.
- Two years’ coordinator-level experience, preferably working in Human Resources.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate 26.50 ($55,000) - $28.85 ($60,000)

Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience.
Working Conditions:
- A hybrid schedule of working in the office and remotely based on specific work demands. Onsite presence is generally one day per week.
