About Process Engineering
The Tolmar Process Engineering team is responsible for maintaining and improving the manufacturing processes for our commercial products. We work with the quality and commercial teams to ensure that any changes needed for the manufacture of our commercial products result can be made without any compromise to the quality of our finished product. We also look to update and improve the existing processes to improve the consistency and quality of manufacturing.
Proposed Work Description
The nature of business is that priorities can shift according to the needs of the company/department and therefore the work described below is a sampling of the kinds of work we expect this position to entail:
- Assist Process Engineers with the implementation of lifecycle management post-approval change project for ELIGARD.
- Assist with drafting of study protocols and reports.
- Assist with execution of process improvement and process validation protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good documentation practice and technical writing ability.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and pharmaceutical industry.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing.
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of statistical experimental design methods (Design of Experiments - DOE) preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing operations preferred.

Education & Experience
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences discipline, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Completion of Physical Chemistry course preferred.
- Have achieved an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed primarily in a laboratory environment but could include office, clean room, or production floor.
- Dress is casual but business- or business-casual dress may be required on occasion.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19.00 per hour
- Benefits include medical insurance and 401k contributions
