How will you make an impact?

As an IT Finance Program Manager, you will play a key role in planning, budgeting, and executing the business objectives and technology solution project/product roadmaps within the FP&A, Controllership, and Treasury domains. The role involves defining the product roadmap and managing complex projects that are integrated into finance business processes.

What will you do?      

IT Finance Sr Program Manager:

  • Project/Program Planning and Strategy:
    • Develop and define program objectives, scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Create a program roadmap and develop strategies for its successful implementation.
    • Identify and assess program risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans.
    • Develop program budgets and resource allocation plans.
  • Project/Program Execution and Management:
    • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
    • Monitor program progress and performance, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
    • Track and report program status, including key metrics, to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Identify and resolve program-related conflicts, priorities, obstacles, and bottlenecks.
    • Implement and maintain program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
    • Leverage Agile Best Practices to manage the program execution by leveraging Jira, PlanView, Confluence, and other program management tools.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external partners.
    • Understand stakeholder requirements and expectations, and incorporate them into program planning and execution.
    • Communicate program updates, progress, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Change Management:
    • Identify and anticipate potential impacts of program implementation on the organization and its stakeholders.
    • Develop change management strategies and plans to facilitate smooth transitions.
    • Support and guide teams and individuals through change, addressing concerns and ensuring the adoption of new processes or systems.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Conduct program evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement lessons learned and knowledge-sharing activities.
    • Identify and implement process improvements and optimizations to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, project management, product management, finance/accounting).

Experience

  • 10+ years of proven experience in program management or project management, preferably in complex and multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools, product management, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with FP&A domain projects, with a must-have focus on Planning Applications, HFM, or related financial application project management.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
  • Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with data analysis techniques, data governance principles, and data validation processes within EPM systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $130,000.00–$214,475.00.
