Job Description

DUTIES: Participate in the scoping and implementation of business data capabilities and systems initiatives including finance and operations data harmonization, enterprise data platform, finances process improvement, quality and compliance data harmonization and analysis, and data warehousing projects.

Gather and document business requirements, user cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow, test scenarios, test cases, and training material.

Prepare detailed requirements, charts, and diagrams for program functions, data integration and transformations, and BI system and solutions designs.

Review existing BI system capabilities, workflows, and schedule limitations to determine the feasibility of requested change.

Collaborate on work projects that involve interfaces across diverse hardware platforms, with multiple programming languages, development tools, or data access tools.

Automate and optimize existing BI processes and methods.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Applied Data Sciences, Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a closely related field of study plus 5 years of business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, or related IT experience. Employer will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Applied Data Sciences, Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a closely related field of study plus 3 years of business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, or related IT experience as an equivalent alternative.

Must have experience or knowledge of:

SAP/Oracle ERP Systems;

Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management;

AWS;

PowerBI/Cognos;

Predictive analytics;

IT infrastructure, IT application technologies, frameworks, and data management;

Agile/SCRUM processes;

Analytical skills; and

Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, JIRA, Confluence.

Travel: Willing to travel up to 25% domestic and international. Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.
