How will you make an impact?

We develop and produce cutting edge microscopy capital equipment for the semiconductor industry.  By providing precise high throughput critical dimensions measurements, our equipment enables development and manufacturing of the latest semiconductor devices such as Intel, Apple, and NVIDIA chips, as well as high density DRAM and NAND storage devices.  As a highly skilled and motivated computer vision expert, you will join a newly formed algorithm group with a growth-oriented startup culture focusing on developing fully automated metrology and defect detection solutions.

What will you do?

  • Computer vision algorithms for anomaly detection, template matching, object detection, and contour extraction
  • Convolutional Neural Networks and other AI technologies
  • Metrology algorithms
  • Implementing algorithms as production quality software
  • Developing algorithm test methodologies
  • Mentoring and coaching junior engineers within the team
  • Presenting at major industry conferences (CVPR, FCMN, M&M, SPIE, etc.)

How will you get here?

Education

Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field

Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in computer vision
  • Proven software development experience in C++, Python, C#, etc
  • Proven ability to present research at conferences and publish academic papers
  • Strong analytical acumen
  • Strong team spirit, good interpersonal skills, and proficient in English
  • Willingness and ability for international and domestic travel (up to 15%)

Preferred Experience

  • Development experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industries
  • Experience with metrology algorithms
