Fremont, CA / Clinical Diagnostics

How will you make an impact?

You will join a R&D team to develop innovative IVD quality control products utilizing new product development skills and experience in clinical diagnostics field.

What will you do?

  • In Vitro Diagnostic Quality Control product development
  • Project execution and documentation
  • Performs laboratory experiments such as formulation of multi-constituent samples, sample testing on various platforms, and preparation of reagents
  • Routine R&D laboratory instrument maintenance and material inventory
  • Documentation including data summary and writing study report

How will you get here?

Education

B.S. in Biochemistry, Chemistry or equivalent, with 2+ years’ industry experience in IVD medical device field; M.S. in Biochemistry, Chemistry or equivalent, with industry experience in IVD medical device field

Experience

  • Experience with new product design and development, familiar with Design Control process
  • Hands-on experience on immunoassay and/or clinical chemistry assay development, reagent development, protein and antibody characterization and cell culture
  • Hands-on experience in operating clinical analyzers

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Must be highly collaborative; have the ability to work independently within a diverse team and contribute to a supportive, positive work environment both within the team and in the greater community
  • Self-motivated, independent, and a proactive driving force of execution
  • Able to adapt to changing needs caused by time, budget, or other constraint
