Location: Bohemia, NY

Hours: Monday- Friday 2:30pm- 11:00pm

How you will make an impact being apart of Quality team

As an Quality Control Inspector, Press Manufacturing you will verify the physical attributes of our manufactured labels including their construction, print quality and quantity. Responsibilities include inspection of labels produced by presses and reorientation label application machines.
 

What you will do in QC

  • Perform quality control of all press printed labeling as per current and approved work instructions in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Perform start, in process, and end verifications for runs manufactured on our standard and booklet presses.

  • Release inspected materials (including tooling and inks) which have met required inspection standards for further processing.

  • Ensure all in process inspection SOPs and work instructions are current and followed.

  • Adhere to Thermo Fisher Scientific Quality Assurance standards.

  • Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.

  • Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

How you will get here…

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.

  • Execute measurements using a ruler

  • Highly organized

  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with the assistance of a calculator

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal communication)

  • Comprehension of label and customer specifications

  • Adaptable to change

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Works well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Strong computer skills

  • Attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is –.
