Assistant Professor Position

The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice and the Department of Biomedical Data Science invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor. Applicants working in any relevant area of statistics, including causal inference, innovative clinical trials, machine learning, network analysis and spatial statistics who also have strong computing skills are especially welcomed. The successful applicant will be expected to lead a portfolio of independent, methods-advancing work, drawing on collaborative relationships with members of the Dartmouth community for health services or policy questions requiring innovative statistical design and analysis approaches. Applicants for this position must have earned a PhD or equivalent degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related discipline with the indication of long-term success as an independent investigator as evidenced by first-authored peer-reviewed publications within the field.
