The Director of Revenue Operations is responsible for streamlining all sales (revenue) operations processes and offerings to instill discipline within the Sales function, excellence in our sales practices and skills and ultimately to accelerate profitable growth.  This position is a strategic partner with executives and supports the execution of sales strategies by building foundational processes and delivering strategic insights to inform sales planning and decisions, as well as provide Imagine proposal, products and service information that can be shared with our clients and prospects to grow our business. This role will oversee the approach and integrity of our sales data and analytics and provide the critical business performance indicators in partnership with Finance and Salesforce talent to guide sales actions. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Workflow Management

  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to design and implement processes and tools that drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to define and implement sales operations strategic and tactical plans aligned with the company's goals and objectives
  • Shape, deploy, and manage the execution of the critical Sales team initiatives through strong project management and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, including sales operations, marketing, central solutions, finance, and IT, to drive alignment and achieve company goals
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Review and synthesize sales data to monitor performance, identify root cause issues and resolve them.
  • In collaboration with Finance and Salesforce talent, lead the sales forecasting and pipeline management processes to ensure accurate and timely revenue projections. Provide actionable insights
  • With a mindset of continuous improvement and an eye towards emerging trends in technology and sales learning, evaluate the end-to-end sales process and identify areas for improvement, proposing recommendations for forward progress and innovative change
  • Challenge legacy policies and procedures that complicate quote, order, invoice, credit, commissions, and revenue processing, and drive elegant, creative solutions based on that analysis

Tools, Technology and Metrics

  • Work cross functionally with IT and Operations to Implement and maintain effective tools, reporting, and sales methodologies to track and manage the sales pipeline, providing visibility into future revenue streams
  • Establish and maintain robust data management practices, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize metrics and anticipate needs to support and maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency
  • Drive adoption and data integrity within Salesforce
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards and provide insights into sales performance, price to win data, revenue forecasts, and other key metrics
  • Provide actionable insights to the sales team and senior leadership for performance improvement and decision-making purposes

People Development & Leadership

  • Identify training needs within the salesforce and recommend learning and skill building solutions by partnering with vendors or creating the learning in-house
  • Oversee and develop the onboarding experience for our salesforce, driving speed to productivity and retention
  • Lead and develop the capabilities of the Revenue Operations Team to develop and deliver comprehensive support to the Sales team
  • Ensure team is meeting the needs of the sales team in terms of reporting, user support, RFP’s. Work to keep them informed and engaged in a fast-moving environment.

Minimum Qualifications of Position

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Revenue Operations
  • Strategic partner to C-Suite with proven experience driving and streamlining scalable process improvements
  • Comfort leading others with over 5+ years mentoring, developing, coaching, and leading teams
  • Able to wear many hats, flexible, nimble, thrives in fast-paced environments, highly organized and detailed.

Preferred Qualifications of Position

  • Expertise and understanding of sales methodologies, processes and performance metrics
  • Understanding of print services and products, target market, and customer requirements
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement tools
  • Experience partnering with Marketing Departments to synchronize automation technologies with sales approach and philosophies

Knowledge and Skills

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite or related software (PowerPoint) and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively structure and organize work and attention to detail

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Occasional walking
  • Frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time working with computers
  • Travel: Customer visits, store walks, pitches, meetings, etc.

The national pay range for this role is $125,000- $175,000 year.  The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
