The Family Partnership is seeking a full-time Clinical Internship Supervisor to oversee the interns in our DMHAP program, and provide direct therapy to clients at our Outpatient Clinics. Therapy services are provided virtually and in our Outpatient Clinics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day clinical supervision of the DMHAP interns.
  • Provide individual and group supervision to DMHAP participants, possibly including recent graduates.
  • Support the smooth functioning of the DMHAP services, including quality services, record keeping, data collection, program reporting, outcome reporting, and billings.
  • Ensure proper management and compliance of contract, as well as timely submission of contract reports.
  • Ensure staff awareness of and compliance with DMHAP service delivery requirements.
  • Collaborate with supervisor to ensure relevant accreditation and contractual standards are met and maintained.
  • Develop and monitor MOUs and contractual agreements with all project and community partners.
  • Maintain CEU certification for the agency.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with school contacts.
  • Provide direct services to clients:
    • Evaluate clients to determine appropriateness for Agency services.
    • Assessment of client needs and development of appropriate treatment plans.
    • Provide services based upon treatment plan utilizing individual, couple, group, family counseling, etc., strategies.
  • Participate in weekly Multidisciplinary team meetings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling or a related field from an accredited school, including clinical course work and a clinical practicum.
  • Three years post degree psychotherapy and/or management experience serving individuals from refugee, immigrant, minority, or other marginalized communities.
  • Two years supervisory or management experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, implicit bias, and structural racism effecting historically marginalized communities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance and business aspects of mental health services.
  • Ability to provide culturally responsive psychotherapy services.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Ability to clearly communicate expectations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
  • Ability to travel to various agency and partner locations.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a mission-driven agency whose clients and staff exhibit significant diversity with respect to race, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic status, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion.

 

Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • Licensed in the State of Minnesota as an LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP.
  • Board Approved Supervisor.
  • Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet The Family Partnership’s driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit.
