Position Overview

The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for the overall travel arrangements needed for immigrants, refugees and other vulnerable population families to be relocated to a resource of their choosing. The Travel Coordinator will ensure that travel needs are planned, organized and executed in a timely manner. The Travel Coordinator will work closely with Intensive Case Managers, Family Relocator and shelter staff in order to relocate families in a safe and expeditious manner. This position requires organization as well as ability to keep accurate records and the ability to communicate clearly with families.

The Travel Coordinator will need to be available in the afternoon to early evenings. Will be available for meetings and commit to working in a team environment.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college as well as a minimum of three years’ administrative experience working in an office setting. Must be familiar with office systems and procedures. Must be organized and have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Must be able to design travel arrangements that are appropriate, safe and timely for families. Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently. Must be flexible and able to work a schedule that includes afternoon and evenings. Schedule will be staggered. Bi lingual required; must have strong conversation and writing skills in both English and Spanish.

Salary: $70,000 flat annual rate
