Position Overview:
Intensive Case Managers will provide intensive relocation support and case management services using trusted partners with a mission-driven commitment to immigrants, refugees and other vulnerable populations. The Case Managers will need to identify available resources to meet participants’ needs; coordination, monitoring and evaluation of services and advocacy to ensure services are accessible and provided. Will work a staggered schedule that may include weekends in order to meet the needs of families. Will work closely with shelter staff and lawyers; be available for meetings and commit to open communication regarding relocation plan for families.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, human services or equivalent from an accredited college as well as a minimum of two years’ experience working with youth and or families that are considered immigrants, refugees or other vulnerable populations. Shelter and or residential experience considered. Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently. Must be flexible and able to work some evening and weekends. Schedule will be staggered. Bi lingual required; must have strong conversation and writing skills in both English and Spanish.
Salary: $70,000 flat annual rate
