Position Overview:
The Assistant Director will assist Director in leading program design and development of the NYC Family Stability and Relocation Project, in close coordination with existing and new partners, and ensure compliance and alignment with the expectations of the project. The Assistant Director will oversee the provision of intensive relocation support and case management using trusted partners with a mission-driven commitment to immigrants, refugees and other vulnerable populations. The Assistant Director will maintain oversight and supervision of staff, ensuring that all relocation goals for each family are being met in a timely manner. The Assistant Director will maintain information management systems to accurately collect and analyze project data, facilitate program adjustments, evaluate programs, and integrate evidence-based improvements to services.
The Assistant Director will need to be available in the afternoon to early evenings and possibly weekends in order to meet the needs of families. Will be available for meetings and commit to working in a team environment. Will be able to conduct and maintain outreach efforts.
Position Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited college as well as a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferably with immigration and or shelter populations. Must have knowledge of immigration law and paperwork or be able to learn quickly. Must be organized and have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Must be able multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently. Must be flexible as schedule will be staggered. Bilingual required; must have strong conversation and writing skills in both English and Spanish.
Salary: $80,000 flat annual rate
