Position Overview

Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including assisting in the completion of asylum paperwork. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to director, case managers and other staff, assisting in daily office needs, scheduling appointments, interfacing with families and managing day to day office responsibilities.

Position Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in human services or related field. Two (2) years’ administrative work experience. Experience with individuals seeking asylum and new immigrant population preferred. Bilingual skills in English/Spanish required. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish; proficiency with MS Office and Google product suites. Ability to perform and manage in a team approach; excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to handle complex challenges and balance multiple demands on time and attention. Ability and willingness to perform all duties as workload necessitates.

Salary: $32.96 flat hourly rate
