Position Overview: The Café Assistant will assist in the oversight and management of the Hawks Nest Café. Duties include supervising youth, teaching customer service skills, food preparation and serving.  The Café Assistant shall attend training, Department Meetings and Supervision on a consistent basis.  The position requires afternoon to evening hours, weekends and some holiday hours.

 Position Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED, required
• Bilingual preferred
• Minimum, 1 year of prior experience as a cook, waitress/waiter, line experience, or food related experience, required
• Servsafe Certification or equivalent, preferred
• Servsafe Instructor, preferred
• NYS Driver’s License, preferred
• Proficiency in WORD AND EXCEL

Salary: $29,702.40-34,157.76
