Position: Program Coordinator
Department: Community Supports
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Salary: $17.10/hour

The Arc of Evansville is hiring a Program Coordinator to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities through personalized, goal-focused programming and the development of active treatment practices in a community-focused environment.

What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and evaluate Individual Support Plans tailored to each person’s goals and needs.
- Lead and coach direct support staff on person-centered and active engagement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with BDDS, Medicaid Waiver, and agency requirements.
- Coordinate schedules for staff and individuals served, ensuring full program coverage and quality.
- Maintain professional communication with families, guardians, and service providers.
- Train and support staff in areas like safety procedures, behavior plans, and personal care needs.
- Provide documentation, assist in investigations, and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Promote community integration and inclusive opportunities for individuals served.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in a human services field is preferred or must meet the qualifications for a Qualified Development Disabilities Professional (QDDP).
- Supervisory experience and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make necessary changes.
- Commitment to safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a variety of settings.
Preferred Certifications (training provided if not already held)
- First Aid/CPR
- Core A & B Medication Administration
- Mandt Crisis Intervention
