Job Description:
• Technical architecture design of multiple complex deployments on Salesforce
• Function as SFDC Technical Architect with experience in the following:
o Thorough understanding of Web Services in general and SOAP and REST specifically; understands the basic workings of HTTP/S
o Understand the different Force.com APIs and is able to design solutions using the appropriate API
o Understand data migration considerations, design trade-offs, and common ETL tools
o Experience with common integration patterns used on the Force.com Platform
o Understand patterns/mechanisms to secure integrations such as TLS for HTTP
o Experience of migration from other CRM applications such as Siebel, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications
o Experienced in CRM, CMS, ERP, CPQ, Portals, SSO, eCommerce, ESB/SOA
o Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
o Exposure to other CRM Tools such as MS Dynamics, Siebel, SAP CRM, DMS, Digital technologies (Good to have)
o Knowledge of Automotive, Industrial equipment CRM implementations (Nice to have)
• Must have technical expertise in Salesforce
• Must have executed at least 3 full life cycle Salesforce implementations
• Must not have only project management or resource management experience
Responsibilities:
Years of experience required for position: 10-15 years
• Determine the relevant platforms and related architecture considerations and tradeoffs
• Describe the applicable design considerations and trade-offs when working within the constraints of the platform and data volumes
• Recommend an appropriate data backup and archival strategy
• Incorporate the platform security features into a solution to meet data security requirements
• Recommend an appropriate identity management mechanism to apply within a solution
• Architect a solution for optimal performance, scalability, maintainability, and reuse
• Evaluate a customer integration environment to recommend the appropriate strategy and technology components based on common integration patterns (including SOAP/REST web services, APIs, batch processes, connectors, middleware)
• Recommend the data migration strategy, considerations, and appropriate tools to use
• Recommend solutions in Visualforce, Apex, Java, AJAX, JavaScript, and other technologies to build customized solutions on the SFDC platform that support business requirements when out-of-box salesforce capabilities are not sufficient
• Contribute in technical sections of RFP responses
• Lead teams in technical projects
Qualifications:
• Experience of Salesforce.com design and integrations
• Salesforce.com certification is must – Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
• Knowledge of various enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP
