This position is for Data and Insights group to expand, strengthen and integrate our BI and Big Data Services portfolio of services. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of implementing large, complex and global BI / EDW / Big Data solutions across a range of platforms and technologies. Understanding of pre-sales process and client facing presentation skills are a must for this role.  

Responsibilities:  

•Provide solutions / roadmap for variety of Data and Analytics requirements from our customers, such as Greenfield EDW / Data Lake Implementation, BI system migration / Transformation, Tools / Technology comparison and selection, etc.

•Participate in RFP process and presentations

•Participate / lead pre-sales discussions with account team and customers to understand problem statement and needs

•Prepare solutions (Architecture, Methodology, Process) and propose high level implementation Roadmap (plan, schedule, estimates)

•Present and influence customers on proposed solution to materialize into projects

•Provide technical leadership in initial phases of new engagements and guide the project teams

•Build Data and Insights solutions / prototypes / proof of concepts aligned with Industry trends both on technology side and how businesses are evolving

•Pursue innovation and improvement across the Data and Insights ervice portfolio

Qualifications: 

•10-15 years of overall experience in implementing Data and Analytics (Business Intelligence, Enterprise Data Warehouse. Big Data) projects

•Must have proven data architecture experience across multiple large scale data warehouse / data lake projects

•Experience in data modeling of conceptual, logical and physical models for Enterprise Warehouse environment.  Understanding of relational and star schema models.

•Experience in data modeling tools like Erwin, PowerDesigner etc.

•Experience in various databases like Teradata, Oracle, DB2, HANA

•Knowledge of BI tools like BO, QlikView, Tableau, etc.

•Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica, Datastage etc.

•Fair understanding of Big Data Platforms like HortonWorks, Clodera, etc

•Fair understanding of NoSQL DBs like HBASE, Neo4j, Cassandra, etc

•Fair understanding of other big data tools / technologies such as NiFi, Spark, Kafka, etc

•Experience in manufacturing domain

•Experience in engaging with customer’s BI organization to drive BI Program / projects implementation

•Experience in analysis, design, development , deployment & documentation of BI solutions
