The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) provides analytical and consulting to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base by delivering critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies, and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of policy implementation to support the U.S. Government’s priorities of ensuring a resilient industrial base for strengthening national security.
SPA has a near-term need for a Program Administrator/Correspondence Manager for full-time, onsite support at the Pentagon or the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
The candidate will provide the CHIPS coordination cell (C3) program support in the areas of front office administration and correspondence management. This will include reviewing and finalizing decision packages, reviewing policy and DoD Issuances, and preparing, integrating changes, and coordinating executive review of key documents. The candidate will coordinate correspondence utilizing DoD's Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS). Will review and edit correspondence to ensure logical flow, consistent use of terms, and compliance with the usage of standards for the style, format, and appearance per the DoD Manual for Written Material (DoDM 5110.04); track staff and senior-level coordination actions; and maintain DoD files. Manage schedules, maintain calendars, and set appointments. Assist with data collection and analysis, and develop and maintain the office’s website presence, ensuring accuracy and currency of information. Will assist with onboarding new personnel and ensuring workspace accommodations. Maintain, update, and edit a variety of routine documents and reports.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of program administration or correspondence management (or similar) experience
- Experience managing correspondence for FO/GO/SES staff
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Master’s Degree
- Experience with Congressional Hearings and Reporting Requirements Tracking System (CHARTS)
- Capability to manage OUSD (A&S) website for content display, currency, and functionality
