Job Description:

  • Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership to individual contributors representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers
  • Develops integrated project schedules to satisfy development and delivery of ongoing and new business requirements
  • Works with customers and management to obtain approvals
  • Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, and schedules
  • Leads execution of Support Systems product development to complete the work statement
  • Identifies and reports project technical performance metrics
  • Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project
  • Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
  • Provides technical and integration leadership for the development and execution of project plans

Additional Job Description

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years’ experience in leading teams or projects
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years' experience as a Technical Lead for USAF deliverable capability
  • Experience providing briefings to senior level management
  • Experience leading multi-discipline teams
  • Experience with USAF Technical Orders and Time Compliant Technical Orders
  • Experience leading technical/source data reviews
  • Previous experience working in an organic aircraft modification environment
  • Experience with Global Services Programs

Education / Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
