Overview

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a Remote Pharmacy Biller to add to our growing team.

Please review carefully qualifications for this role below.  Heavy customer service will be required - must be comfortable with engaging by phone as well as performing backoffice functions.

Work Schedule:

  • PRN Position - Hours will be 8:30 AM -5:00 PM CST (Must be available these working hours & adjust accordingly if not on CST i.e.  EST hours would be 9:30AM-6PM EST)
  • Remote Position (MUST RESIDE IN CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES)

Responsibilities

This position will maintain, update, and bill customers’ accounts timely and accurately.

  • Perform insurance and billing clerical duties, including review and maintenance of patient account information.
  • Resolve routine patient billing inquiries and problems.
  • Act as liaison between patients and third parties.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - there is daily phone work in this position, so much be comfortable picking up and answering calls from patients and third parties
  • Proven ability to maintain organization, multi-task and pay attention to detail while working on several tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Medical billing experience required; two years minimum.  Long Term Care Pharmacy billing experience preferred
