Strom Minnesota is currently looking for a Project Manager for our client in Western WI.  We are not offering relocation assistance at this time, local applicants only.

Job Description: As a Project Manager Millwork, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and installation of millwork projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of every project.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze job requirements, define scope, and set project timelines for submittals, fabrication, and installation.
  • Review and QC all submittal/shop drawings prior to client
  • Communicate directly with contractors, architects, vendors, and subcontractors in a professional and timely manner.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontracts for Stone and
  • Formulate RFI’s & change
  • Purchase specialty material such as metal, upholstery, glass, and other custom
  • Take an active role in the manufacturing Work closely with the production team to determine best practices.
  • Handle and manage onsite coordination with contractors and
  • Attain and check field measurements; coordinate with other trades to ensure successful
  • Maintain and coordinate material deliveries to ensure project schedules are being

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Wood Technology, or related field or 2 years’ experience in commercial millwork/casework as a project
  • Knowledge of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) Standards
  • Advanced to intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Familiarity with using Bluebeam
  • 5+ years’ experience in architectural millwork or a similar
  • Able to read architectural drawings/blueprints.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Ability to take
