Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, part-time intern to service the Greater Los Angeles commercial real estate market. The intern will interact and work alongside not only the full-time analysts but also the leasing and tenant representation brokers while being immersed in our firm’s unique culture.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Attain knowledge in understanding the full spectrum of responsibilities and day-to-day tasks involved with project leasing and tenant representation 
•    Provide analytical and marketing support to the team 
•    Strive to become an expert on markets / submarkets   
•    Assist with market surveys, land and amenity maps, competitive sets, lease abstracts and prospect reports
•    Participate in property tours and stacking plans for properties 
•    Coordinate tour packets and sales pitch materials
•    Assist with special projects as needed throughout duration of internship
•    Network with real estate professionals
•    Track data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market and new developments using internal and external resources
•    Respond to all internal and external client requests for data and information
•    Proactively collect, update and maintain data in proprietary commercial property databases ensuring consistently accurate and current market information related to lease/sale comparables, development data, performance metrics and statistics
•    Compile, analyze and interpret data required for writing quarterly market reports

Qualifications

•    Obtaining an undergraduate degree 
•    Able to work during the school year
•    Interest in the commercial real estate industry
•    Previous internship experience a plus 
•    Involvement on campus 
•    Basic knowledge or understanding of finance  
•    Strong interpersonal skills 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills 
•    Proficient with MS Office 
•    Proficient with MS Excel
