ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for the corporate accounting department.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Participate in financial statement analysis and variance reporting.
  • Work with investment-related accounting data, including portfolio valuation and fund accounting processes.
  • Conduct research on accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices as needed.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE                                 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in the investment banking and financial services industry.
