Job Summary:

Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to customers of the department. Take a lead role and act as the go-to person for the Hospital's business units and IT management regarding IT infrastructure technologies supporting both projects and operations.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or Equivalency required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology preferred
• Minimum 10 years relevant IT experience preferred
• Excellent understanding of user environment management, including desktops/laptops, profile management, software delivery, etc.
• Must have strong technical knowledge of Microsoft and VMware technologies
• Must have good familiarity with other IT Infrastructure technologies such as storage area networks (SAN), WAN acceleration devices, virtualization, and data warehouse.
• Must be willing to travel to offsite locations
