Academic Support – Professional Tutors, Student Tutors, Class Note Takers and Readers 

Multiple position openings: 

• Professional Tutors (RN’s, BSN’s, BA degrees)
• Student Tutors 
• Note-Takers
• Readers

Pay: Varies depending on position  

Pay Classification: Non-exempt; Hourly 

Duties and Responsibilities varies based on position: 

1. Tutor and assist students to better understand class material
2. Maintain world-class customer service to students, staff, and faculty
3. High ability to multi-task
4. Maintain confidentiality
5. Provide a professional image of SC4
6. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

1. Overall “3.0” or higher GPA
2. Ability to write legible, speak and read proficiently
3. Ability to be punctual, responsible, and flexible

Compensation: 

1. RN’s, BSN’s, Bachelor’s degree (non-student):  $25.00 per hour
2. Associate Degree (non-student): $20.00 per hour
3. LPN certification (non-student): $15.50 per hour
4. Student Tutor/Student Reader/Student Note-Taker (Associates degree):  $15.00
5. Student Tutor/Student Reader/Student Note-Taker (no degree):  $14.00
