Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Raise Intern is responsible for developing leadership capacity, academic excellence, and employability skills in health-related careers through participation in a variety of work, academic, and skill-building activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in High School; OR a GED program; OR equivalent program.

Additional Qualifications of the Raise Intern II:

Successful completion of one (1) Raise session.

Additional Qualifications of the Raise Intern III:

Successful completion of two (2) Raise sessions.

Additional Qualifications of the Raise Intern IV:

Successful completion of three (3) Raise sessions.

Additional Qualifications of the Raise Intern V:

Successful completion of four (4) Raise sessions.

Additional Qualifications of the Raise Intern VI:

Successful completion of five (5) Raise sessions.

Additional Qualifications of the Raise Graduate Intern:

1. High School diploma; OR equivalent within the past academic year.

2. Have successfully completed at least one (1) previous Raise session.

3. Earn the equivalent of at least twelve (12) college credits prior to completion of the program.

Employee Health Requirements:

Compliance with our Employee Health Procedure is a condition of SCF employment.  You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment.  Jobs designated as a Health Care Personnel (HCP) position, requires that you have documentation that you have completed the following immunizations prior to your first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap (Tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis), and COVID-19 vaccination is required.
