Description

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Researcher is responsible for assisting management in managing research projects, research associates, and analyzing and reporting research results. Techniques used include epidemiology, bio-statistical analysis, outcomes study design, and computer-based analytic tools.

This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work or related field; OR equivalent training and experience.
2. Two (2) years of experience conducting research studies including statistical analyses.

Additional Qualifications for Researcher II: Meets all requirements of Researcher I in addition to the following:

1. Two (2) years of total experience developing research studies OR demonstrated proficiency  as a Researcher I at SCF.
2. At least one (1) published manuscript.

Native Preference: 

Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training.  SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
