About Maternal-Fetal Medicine
SCF’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine, also known as high-risk obstetrics or perinatology, provides complete consultation and evaluation of high-risk pregnancies for women and newborns who have complications identified prior to or during pregnancy. This clinic works collaboratively with OB-GYN physicians and certified nurse midwives to do everything possible to ensure the health and well-being of new mothers and their babies.

Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician
- Consult only practice with two physicians and dedicated support staff.

Qualifications:
1.M.D. or D.O. degree required.
2. Licensed as a Physician in the State of Alaska.
3. Current American Board certification specialty appropriate for the service.
4. Meets all requirements in order to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.
5. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.
