SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (OR Circulator) is responsible for delivering excellent patient care first and foremost, assisting in pre and post visits as needed, assisting in surgical procedures, and fostering a spirit of teamwork.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to the following):
- D.N. or B.S.N. from accredited College of Nursing, accompanied by sitting for and passing the NCLEX-RN exam and maintaining licensure in the state(s) of employment. RN is responsible for maintaining the required elements for successful license renewal.
- Prior experience in circulating a General Anesthesia (GA) Operating Room (OR) preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to the following):
General:

- Comprehends Sono Bello’s electronic tracking tools and databases, including, but not limited to: Sono Bello intranet found at mysonobello.com (QM reporting, Cancellation Reporting), Zenoti and the Manuals Portal (policies, procedures, and associated forms). The RN must be well-informed on updated content and materials therein.
- Establishes and maintains a secure knowledge and understanding of ALL policies, procedures, and associated Policies, procedures, and forms are subject to change and RN must be current on all changes regarding forms located on the Sono Bello Manuals Portal. Such forms include but are not limited to: Informed Consent, Medical History, Physical Exam, and Medical Clearance.

Procedural Responsibilities:

- Pre-Procedure Responsibilities:

- Precisely and accurately chart and document all appropriate medical forms including but not limited to: Surgery Note, Progress Note, medications dispensed or prescribed, patient/family responses and any pertinent information and charting related to patient care.
- Post-Procedure Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sterilizing operating room and instruments after a procedure and disposing of contaminated materials in a timely manner.
- Assisting, if needed with application of proper post-procedure dressings and garments to patients with patient comfort in mind.
- Providing excellent nursing care to patient and attain strict criteria for
- Explaining treatment procedures, medications and physician's instructions to patients and caregiver(s).

COMPENSATION
This is a Non-Exempt position with an hourly range of $37.00-$46.63, depending on experience.
