Sodexo Live! has an opportunity for a Chef/Kitchen Manager who will support a large commissary kitchen operation that delivers thousands of ready to eat meals to our local clients.

Working in the metro Atlanta area with our commissary team, this Chef/Kitchen Manager will oversee the production of baked goods and other food items packed for delivery and distribution. Grow your culinary career. We are seeking candidates with prior culinary supervisory skills and hands-on food production experience to join our team.

This manager will work 2nd shift from 12pm - 8:30pm.

The successful candidate will:

  • be responsible for menu compliance, cooking, food production, food quality/presentation, safety/sanitation;
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards (HACCP); and/or
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems (Excel Spreadsheets);
  • direct the activities of 10-15 associates;
  • oversee administrative duties including: employee schedules, hours and payroll.

  • a supervisory culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends and delegate with confidence;
  • excellent mentoring/leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
  • prior culinary/kitchen management experience within a restaurant, lounge or other hospitality-focused venue;
  • strong coaching skills; and/or
  • a passion for food and service.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
