Job Description

This is an onsite position at our Rancho Belago, CA site

Pay range is $150,000-$180,000

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:                                               

  • Organize daily activities based on the organization's goals.
  • Devise and implement programs that support the organization's objectives.
  • Evaluate and assess program strengths, weaknesses, and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and oversee projects, including new building construction and warehouse automation.
  • Assist in strategic planning, including organizing planning meetings with DC leadership.
  • Vet and analyze new project requests for ROI and simple payback calculations.
  • Develop project scopes, ensuring deliverables are met within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Assist with contract negotiation and defining & implementing insurance requirements.
  • Be a change management agent--promoting, championing, and supporting change implementation.
  • Manage CAPEX budget and cash flow forecasting for projects and other DC expenditures.
  • Calculate, analyze, and report on actual project ROIs, including compare actual against expected.
  • Support domestic and international automation projects, including international travel (15%).
  • Develop a deep understanding of the footwear company's DC business and processes.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for budgeting and spreadsheet maintenance.

Additional Information

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution center automation projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects on-time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing complex projects, including building construction and warehouse automation projects.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience writing formulas to incorporate new functionality into budgeting spreadsheets.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
  • Knowledge of footwear or retail industries is a plus.
