Valid Driver's License is a must.

Schedule:

• Full Time

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 2nd Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain a high level of grooming, shaven and uniform appearance.

Provide courteous and efficient service to all parts customers.

Drive in a safe and courteous manner.

Utilize dispatch software for all deliveries.

Write up all returns for credits daily.

Receive cores and warranty parts for credits daily.

Assist in housekeeping of parts department daily.

Inspect shipments for damage and quantity daily.

May be required to perform other duties and task as directed by management.

Make sure all invoices are signed and or payment is received before part is given to the customer daily.

Inform management of any complaints customers have with our parts department daily.

Tie down and secure any loose freight in the truck before you start your deliveries daily.

Check all invoices against supplied manifest to verify you have all the parts for current route.

Mark all parts with I.D. tags if necessary for customers daily.

Deliver all receipts, cash, checks, and credits to the dispatcher at the end of every run.

Report to the dispatcher at the beginning and after completion of every run for route assignment.

Place truck keys in the key box at the end of the day.

Gas cards can be obtained from management and must be returned with a receipt the same day.

Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.

Check with the dispatch clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries.

Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.

Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork to dispatch clerk.

Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.

Advises dispatch clerk if delivery trucks needs repairs or maintenance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Ability to obtain a valid Chauffeur’s License and Medical Examiner’s Certification within 30 days of hire.
