Job Description

The GCS Quality Engineering team is the cornerstone of quality for Global Cloud Services (GCS), ensuring that every product and service performs seamlessly across all environments—whether it’s the ServiceNow cloud, public cloud, regulated/commercial markets, lab or corporate environments. Key Focus Areas include (1) Environment readiness: Ensuring environments are stable and secure (2) Application & Service interoperability: Guaranteeing end-to-end compatibility and effectiveness across system layers (3) Operating at scale: Ensuring the services are performant and reliable at scale.

Current role offers a great opportunity to learn & master testing strategies, automation and employing data analytics in testing.

What you get to do in this role:  

  • Maintain existing automation test frameworks
  • Collect and report quality metrics from test execution
  • Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them
  • Create comprehensive test plans, execute and automate them
  • Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 0+ years of experience with technologies relevant to ServiceNow
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting language such as Java, JavaScript, Python or Ruby
  • High level of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to test a system using techniques such as unit testing, run manual test cases, design an integration vs unit vs manual strategy, design a test reporting system, run load testing, figure out what to benchmark.
  • Some working knowledge and ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily task

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $92,200 - $133,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
