Job Description

  • Carry out, from an assembly book, the assembly of sub-assemblies and structural assemblies of airframes and aircraft systems
  • Adapt your work to various types of assembly: fuselage assembly, aircraft cockpit and different types of components
  • Use manual or automated machines and tools depending on the work to be done
  • Ensure, by various means of control, the conformity of the assemblies in relation to the assembly specifications.
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition;

Qualifications

  • Typically 5 years of experience in assembly.
  • Sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling 
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings 
  • Ability to  effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
  • Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
  • Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
