  • Answer on product feasibility to BCI partners.
  • Ensure the definition and feasibility of product assemblies.
  • Propose and negotiate product optimizations to exceed QCD (Quality, Cost, Timing) objectives and reliability.
  • Define the process of his sector and make cost calculation with POG.
  • Contribute to the Process Efficiency, providing performance KPIs.
  • Define the assembly sequence and create the reference process in accordance with Technical Referential.
  • Ensure QCD Targets (Quality, Cost and Timing).
  • Guaranteeing the feasibility of assemblies (geometry, product conformity, process), the robustness of the DFN, and respect of Technical Referential
  • Driving the number of joinings optimization process with Product Engineering.
  • Offering ways to optimize PLP to GEO Team (number of geometric references exactly needed).
  • Validate feasibility of the WSE.
  • Define conformation WSE definition with GEO Team.
  • Provide an initial distribution of assembly links by assembly stages, initialize WSE synthesis, and monitor WSE updates.
  • Realize product/process robustness for each product SYNC.
  • Provide deliverables for Set 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  • Analyze and validate product evolutions requested by partners.
  • Manage Product changes, in term of Feasibility, Cost & Time
  • Calculate cost.
  • Makes counterproposals to BCI to minimize impacts and negotiates in PPCM (= Product and Process Convergence meeting), old named “mini-plateaux”.
  • Organize date of application consistent with the industrial planning.
  • Initializes product/process “derogation” monitoring and create “ECR.”
  • Realize first-level process cycle diagram.
  • Guarantee Make or Buy: check with the outsourcing pilot that all outsourced components are managed by Purchase Department.
  • Between Set 3 and Set 4 (SYNC5): realizes the robustness product evolutions, creates an “Modification Sheet”, and transmits it to the EXE.
  • Project management.
  • Reports to the Process Architect and Product Robustness Leader.
  • Participates in PPCM (= Product and Process Convergence meeting), old named “mini-plateaux” with BCI.
  • Provides the necessary information to partners.
  • Analyze, create or adapt the product to be hemmed.
  • Analyze and define the way to marry inner and outer panels.
  • Define and realize the DFNIE-2D for each closure.
