Job Description

  • Operate on a global perimeter for welding shops, but also for JV and partnership plants, on processes and also on products, taking into account industrial constraints.
  • Analyze industrial launch assumptions and product definition.
  • Develop process or master plan for projects and Bodyshop objectives, respecting the sector's benchmarks.
  • Propose product-process optimizations to partners.
  • The activity covers all projects in advance of phase, explorations, and life series developments that strongly impact the process.
  • He/she guaranties the best possible process or master plan offer from Welding Engineering Department to customer.
  • Decision perimeter concerns the feasibility of the product/process, the master plan of body shops and the quantification of industrial investments.
  • Responsible for the convergence of investments and the number of workers, from the Advance phase to Set 3.
  • Performance indicators of its process design: Investments, surfaces, number of workers, Worker's efficiency, robots' workload, ergonomy and compliance with Technical referentials.
  • Analyze initial industrial assumptions of the Strategic Plan and Product hypothesis.
  • Catch product data and analyze their impact on body shops.
  • Check the compatibility of industrial assumptions with existing process.
  • Offer product optimizations.
  • Enforce technical referentials.
  • Guaranty convergence of Investment and TC.
  • Monitor and update master plans.
  • Participate in the evolution of Technical Referentials.

Qualifications

  • Welding knowledge required. 
  • Hands on welding experience a plus.
