Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience
Previous experience in an HSSEQ environment, preferably as a Manager or above.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitors regulatory changes that impact all SIL vesels.
- Has the authority and responsibility to ensure that safety, quality, and environmental policies are followed, objectives are pursued, and that the SQMS is maintained to the standards of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001: 2004, and the ISM Code.
- Maintains the SQMS and feedback distribution, including:
- Processing SQMS nonconformity reports
- Preparing and distributing Safety Alerts
- Preparing and distributing fleet near-miss summaries.
- Coordinating management system audits
- Travel as needed to visit fleet vessels.
- Reviews and approves specific procedures in the Electronic SQMS and Docmap and is responsible for its implementation.
- Reviews specific reports as stated in the Vessel Administration Manual (Vessel Reports Matrix)
- Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as may be required or directed.
