General Statement of Duties
Salem State is seeking a risk assessment and strategic planning coordinator to assist and support the Office of the General Counsel with risk assessment and management and strategic plan implementation. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, have excellent reasoning skills, exercise sound judgment and organization, possess superior communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with others. This is a part-time, non-benefited position up to 15 hours per week.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of experience assisting in risk assessment, strategic planning, business development or audit
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to reason and exercise independent and sound judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters
- Skill in using electronic and computerized equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form
- Ability to gather and obtain information by examining records, documents, and reports
- Ability to deal tactfully with others
- Ability to coordinate the efforts of others in accomplishing assigned work objectives
