Job Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (SME) to join our team of developers supporting our Federal customer in Washington, DC. This position supports the development of mission-critical applications for a federal government client focused on national security. The successful candidate will develop a Java application with a PostgreSQL backend and Tomcat application server.
The successful candidate will be developing in AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. Support will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of specifications/requirements provided by the system owner. The developer may be tasked with supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development. The contractor will need to possess strong user interface skills using Angular 2+ application development. Also, they must possess a strong Computer Science background with either a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in this field.

Requirements
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 10 years' experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web, or microservices, database, search).
- Experience with leading or advanced programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.
- Experience with Java (JEE Development)
- Strong JavaScript/Ajax Application Development
- Experience with Angular version 2 or above
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and Spring Security
- Experience with Tomcat
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- GIT LAB experience
- Experience in Test Driven Development
- JUNIT experience
- Experience with Atlassian tools
- Experience with Microservices architecture
