Position Overview:

We are looking for an Agile Business Analyst to join our team supporting our Federal Government Client in Washington, D.C. This role will support the analysis and development of an Enterprise Dev Ops environment..

This position would be working on a day shift, Monday - Friday, and be required onsite (no remote).

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, capture and perform requirements analysis.
  • Document and communicate the results of your efforts which include but are not limited to Requirements Backlog, Test Cases, Release Notes, etc.
  • Write user stories to support development and deployment
  • Facilitate the gathering of business focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the users perspective is considered.
  • Assist in handling Application Service Tickets
  • Assist in writing / reviewing procedural documents for management of the project and personnel
  • Work with Product Owner and users to determine operational objectives of business needs and elicit requirements. Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption and engagement.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between development team, stakeholders and users.
  • Perform as the primary or backup Scrum Master
Requirements:

**Active Top Secret Clearance.**
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experiences with the Atlassian tools to include Jira and Confluence.
  • Experiences with Agile and Scrum and Kanban frameworks
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
  • Experience supporting a Dev Ops environment
