GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Accounts Receivable Administrator I has the responsibility of performing functions related to various aspects of the cash receipts and accounts receivable. This position also supports special projects as requested by the Director, Accounts Receivable & Accounting Systems. Must be highly motivated, organized, attentive to detail, able to work independently and the ability to handle multitasks in a fast paced environment. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounts Receivable
- Analyzes accurate accounts receivable records for specific regional office clients,
- Works with other departments to identify and address discrepancies, reconciliations, and communicates with clients regarding discrepancies, or any billing question they may have,
- Heavy email communication between clients and also international regional offices,
- Will be responsible for accounts receivable for a specific international region and will be responsible to respond to clients regarding overdue accounts. General Department Responsibilities
- Prepares monthly statements to our clients as needed
- Prepares schedules and researches issues
- Maintains accurate customer files. Upon request, provides special reports reflecting status of customer accounts
- Works with other departments to review and approve the work orders
- Occasionally, assists in training new employees.
- Perform other duties and projects as required.
GENERAL QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES: Experience, Education and Certification Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred. 1-2 years of experience, or applicable internship. Strong knowledge of basic MS Excel capabilities and procedures. Strong skill in math, accuracy and precision, interest in business, organized, willingness to follow recommended procedures, honesty, patience, good written, and oral communication skills, good people skills and team player. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application, Great Plains and use of general office equipment Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Able to lift approximately 15 - 20 lbs.
