We are seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to support our client in Colorado Springs, CO. Please see below to find the job description and desired qualifications;

This person will help contribute to our Mission Engineering team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions that includes a background in all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.

Responsibilities

    • The candidate will work on the Global Infrastructure team and will assist in maintaining and sustaining a hyperconverged infrastructure.
    • They will work with multiple operating systems and specific developmental toolsets.

Qualifications

    • 3+ years of building project plans and organizing groups to manage personnel resources and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support the software development lifecycle
    • Linux experience using RHEL administration including networking and protocols
    • Experience with projects that plan and schedule multiple groups in building out construction of labs, equipment to include: rack, space and power.
    • Experience with adding engineering rigor to the process for the Network Engineers, System Admins and cyber in support of projects and milestones.
    • Experience in working with CM to assure all processes are being met and captured
    • Understand of System Administration roles in a customer prem cloud environment
    • Understanding of Network Engineering roles in supporting Cloud base solution/implementations.
    • Experience with the tools like terraform, Ansible, shell scripting
    • Experience automating the buildout of VMs using Nutanix, VMWare
    • 1+ container orchestration using Kubernetes (or similar tool) to support databases and SW developments tools like GitLab, Nexus as well as mission software
    • Current Linux certification to fulfill DoD computing environment requirement
    • Previous experience working in Agile Software Development organizations using the SAFe framework

Education & Certifications

    • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject preferred
    • Minimum Active Top Secret Clearance Required with SCI Eligibility
    • IAT- Level II certification required
