Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be able to drive the development and execution of multiple projects by working with project team to define, sequence, and estimate duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to established standards, processes, and policies for all projects.
  • Manage all aspects of the project execution including chartering, scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, change control, risk management and reporting.
  • The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
  • Develop cybersecurity policies for Government approval.
  • Review existing cybersecurity policies and develop recommendations, as required.
  • Submit POA&Ms as required.
  • Manage overall Quality Assurance and monitor Quality control.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • BA/BS + Minimum of 8 years of IT Project Management, at least 5 of which shall be specialized in cybersecurity services
  • Technical background and understanding of information technology and cybersecurity
  • Cybersecurity PM experience:
    • History of managing and leading medium to large IT projects in the datacenter and cybersecurity space
    • Experience managing security projects such as vulnerability management, SIEM, DLP, configuration management, IAM, threat intelligence, incident response, segmentation, Pen Testing, etc.
    • Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover)
  • Strong Project Management skills and experience:
    • Have a demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and teams; demonstrated ability to coordinate individuals and groups
    • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing, shifting priorities
    • Manage multiple complex projects concurrently
    • Facilitate meetings and provide leadership to project teams
    • Develop, update, and publish project plans
    • Ensure project deliverables are defined and delivered
    • Maintain RAID registers to track and resolve action items
    • Identify, report, and resolve risks and issues
    • Identify and implement continuous improvements
    • Coordinate the efforts of internal staff, customers, and partners
    • Maintain and develop team and document collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Teams)
    • Experience with Microsoft Project
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to present at senior leadership levels
    • Manage, monitor and maintain quality of deliverables.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Advanced Technical Degree
  • ITIL v3 – Foundation
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), etc.
  • Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
