We are seeking a successful, self-motivated, driven Senior Team Leader to join our team in Alexandria, VA. This position is fully remote. The Senior Team Leader will be responsible for managing IT projects using infrastructure project management methodology, analyzing client business requirements, and defining project tasks to deliver high quality project results on time and within budget to meet high quality standards. The Team Lead will be responsible for creating and managing project documentation and managing according to the project management plans. The candidate shall have experience translating requirements to a work breakdown structure. The Technical Lead will define task level detail from the work breakdown structure to define an achievable schedule that is used to manage work packages. Candidates must be able work manage matrixed resources to ensure timely deliver. Successful candidates must have a proven track record of successful project delivery as well as background in workstation management, Tier 2 support, or Desktop Engineering is a plus. Must be able to communicate with employees and contractors; displaying strong customer service skills, using professionalism, tact and diplomacy at all times.

MUST HAVE:

Masters and 8 years’ experience or Bachelors and 11 years’ experience or High School Diploma and 17 years’ experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Candidates must be able to understand/define business requirements and designs.
  • Candidates can translate requirements into work breakdown structure and technical designs.
  • Candidates must be able to define and manage to project schedules.
  • An understanding of workstation management is helpful in this role.
  • Candidate must be experienced using project management methodologies (Infrastructure, Waterfall, Agile)
  • Familiar with Tier I/II Support for custom business applications (Diagnosis/Remediation, Access (password) Setup/Unlock/Reset, Application Install/Removal, Performance Tuning)
  • Candidate must have experience using lessons learned to make corrective actions to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Must have experience defining, reporting, and using metrics to manage project performance.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio, and Adobe for project documentation and reporting.
