Major Responsibilities
- Prepare and review, trust, and partnership income tax returns
- Prepare and review gift tax returns
- Prepare tax projections and estimates
- Organize and understand client source documents and create client workpapers from such source documents necessary to prepare individual, trust, gift, and partnership returns
- Assist and work in a team environment so clients are effectively served
- Identify and communicate accounting matters to other engagement team members
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Experience/Background/Skills
- Masters degree in Accounting or related degree
- A minimum of two years of current and or recent tax experience in public accounting
- CPA or JD preferred
- Ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environment
- Have the ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strict adherence to professional ethics
- Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential applicants who will work or reside in the state of Colorado or Nevada, if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant skills and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications (e.g. JD / technology).
