The Corporate Finance Team within RTI is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will be responsible for supporting the budgeting process and other financial planning activities, providing analytical expertise on key issues, creating presentations for stakeholders, and other ad hoc analysis and support. In addition, this role will be supporting the expansion, development, and standardization of RTI’s dashboarding as the Oracle ERP is implemented and RTI’s efforts in optimizing our use of technology to improve processes, reporting, and analytics.

The work this role will be supporting is dynamic and can be short-term in nature depending on business needs and priorities and as a result we are seeking the right blend of financial expertise, critical thinking, desire to learn, adaptability, and tech savvy.

Responsibilities

· Supports management with proactive financial analysis, leadership, and support on critical business initiatives.

· Supports in the development of executive presentations.

· Supports the budgeting, strategy week, and other financial planning activities, as needed.

· Supports the expansion, development, and standardization of Corporate Finance’s current reporting.

· Develops intuitive, insightful, and engaging interactive dashboards and data products that enable efficient, data-driven decision-making, as needed.

· Maintains and distributes monthly Power BI reporting and ensures a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy in reporting, as well as provides key business insights.

· Identifies and implements ways to improve data accuracy and timeliness using automation and new tools.

· Serves as Corporate Finance interface, when needed, across multiple departments (including Business Unit, Accounting, Finance, IT, and Contracts).

· Facilitates implementation of new financial policies, procedures and systems when needed.

· Leads and/or participates in special projects to improve or enhance financial management and operating efficiencies.

Skills & Abilities – Financial:

· Prior FP&A experience required.

· Proven ability to provide financial analyses and package into consumable format for senior level management and non-financial staff (e.g., storytelling / strong use of visuals and dashboards to articulate messages).

· Demonstrated ability to contribute business insights.

· Possesses strong knowledge of financial systems with the ability to develop ad-hoc reports when required.

· Skilled with financial models, ability to manage ambiguity in business modeling with support.

· Knowledge of government contracting a plus.

Skills & Abilities – Technical:

· Experience developing dashboards and data products to support data-driven decision-making.

· Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and other data analysis/visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

· Technology savvy and eager to be at the forefront of digital financial capabilities.

· Understands relationship between technology and process.

· Experience with Oracle is nice to have.

Skills & Abilities – General:

· Ability to partner with team members across RTI Finance to identify and implement best practices to streamline work processes and support the digital transformation strategy.

· Ability to be resourceful and to take initiative in analyzing situations and applying principles and procedures to assist in the development of solutions to difficult problems.

· Skilled in business navigation, understanding inter-dependencies & knowing when to engage others, able to effectively prioritize workload, self-manage and complete tasks to best meet colleagues’ needs.

· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, technical staff and clients.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy, while also understanding the big picture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or relevant field and 6+ years or Master’s degree and 1+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
