The part-time (29 hours/week) Universal Banker position pays $18.00 -$24.00 per hour depending on experience. In order to provide you with the skills and knowledge to be successful in the Universal Banker position, the initial training program for the position is a combination of 5 weeks of hands-on, “classroom” and webinar learning.

The Universal Banker is responsible for providing an exceptional in-branch customer experience by handling customer needs from teller transactions to other service and sales requests. The UB is responsible for floating between the teller line and platform as needed within their branch. You will have a primary role on the teller line and be responsible for platform interactions and bank operations. You will be responsible for providing solutions based on customer needs by following the Rhinebeck Bank relationship management process.

Primary responsibilities include: processing customer transactions, making outbound sales calls, opening accounts, recommending appropriate bank products and services, and referring business to other departments and the Bank's subsidiaries in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.

In order to succeed in this role, you will establish strong customer relationships, portray the Bank's professional image and customer service. Following up with customers, returning phone calls, clearly explaining Bank products and services, completing reports and other paperwork, and reporting customer feedback to Management are key responsibilities of the position.

Education & Experience:
1+ years of banking experience preferred.
