Printpack Villa Rica I is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Process Engineer II.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering degree in a field that is compatible with the position requirements.
Preferred 5 years hands-on, with high results, experience in a related field of work
Demonstrated effectiveness at working with and leading others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma certification
  • Familiarity or experience with TPM Methodology
  • Advance Degree in Engineering or relevant work experience in a continuous improvement environment
  • Prior management experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to drive change and overcome obstacles.
  • Proven results with quality tools and methodologies for solving practical manufacturing problems i.e. DMAIC.
  • Lead and assist project teams to implement, standardize, and sustain process inefficiencies while reducing variation.
  • Highly focused on process standardization and process controls that achieve the expected benefits and ultimately improve internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Use data based analysis leading projects that focus on eliminating/reducing top quality and waste issues in core processes.
  • Proven teacher/facilitator in team settings with outstanding communication abilities.
  • Provide strategic support for plant operations with engineering and capital project management.
  • Support the teamwork of all departments working effectively together to achieve external customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the Focused Improvement team with the plant to drive continuous improvement through cross-functional teams.
  • Proven engaged leadership abilities.
  • Very limited travel is expected.

  • Knowledge and communication of statistical methods.
  • Good communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work with manufacturing and non-manufacturing personnel.
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills and the ability to maintain long and short term projects.
  • Ability to react quickly and logically to manufacturing problems.
  • A willingness to work a flexible schedule is a must.
