Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill an Electronics Technician position at their Prescott Valley, AZ facility.

Pay: $28.85 - $36.00 per hour depending on experience.

Shift Premium: $2.50 an hour for any hours worked between 7pm to 7am.

Schedule:  Night shift 5:00pm-5:00am on a 3/2 schedule, after training is complete.

  • Read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and identify operation of system

  • Read and Understand PLC Ladder Logic

  • Understand and apply National Electrical Code to projects and installations.

  • Install, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems

  • Inspect and test electronic equipment using multi-meters, ammeters

  • Troubleshoot 24V analog and digital circuitry, electric motors and identify failures in the plant

  • Set up and troubleshoot VFDs

  • Install, Program and Troubleshoot and Repair Heating/Cooling Controllers, AC/DC motor drives, PLC systems, and production equipment

  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify and repair mechanical malfunctions

  • Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly & maintenance

  • Monitor installed equipment to identify potential failures

  • AAS degree in Electrical Technology or related field, or a minimum of five (5) years Electronic Technician experience with a solid understanding of electrical trouble shooting and machine function.

  • Able to effectively redirect efforts on short notice

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Good attitude and willingness to learn

  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills

  • Understand Three Phase Electrical systems up to 480V

  • Understand PLC and AC/DC Drive Software

  • Arc Flash Codes and Requirements

  • Experience in Control and PID Loops

  • Cross-functional team player
